Kept Sets

How it works

You buy a set or a pack, download a ZIP, and load the PNGs into your booth app. Each set is one design made for every layout a booth uses, with layered PSDs for changing the names, the date and, on birthday sets, the number. You pay once and use it at every event your business runs.

What is in a set

Every set is designed as one piece across these layouts. The New Year's Eve 2027 sets have the first seven; the Milestone Birthdays sets have all eleven.

For each layout you get a print-ready PNG with clear windows where the photos go, and a layered PSD. The GIF overlay also comes as an animated GIF, a boomerang GIF, a MOV with transparency for video and 360 booths, and an MP4 preview.

Changing the names, date and number

  1. Install the fonts from the FONTS folder in your download. They are all under the SIL Open Font License.
  2. Open the PSD for the layout. The names and the date are live type in the NAMES AND DATE group: double-click and type over them.
  3. On a birthday set, open THE NUMBER group, right-click a digit layer, choose Replace Contents, and pick a digit from the DIGITS folder.
  4. Export a PNG at the same size and load it in your booth app as the overlay or template.

You don't need Photoshop if the sample names fit your event: the PNGs are finished.

Booth software

The files are made at the sizes these apps ask for. The download has a three-step guide for each app marked "Guide in the download". The others are being tested now, and this list will say so when they pass.

After you pay

Checkout sends you to a thank-you page, and a download link arrives by email with your receipt. Each set is its own ZIP with a START-HERE guide, the quick guides, the fonts and the license. Keep the email: the link is how you download the files again on another machine.

My Sets

We are building My Sets, a page where you sign in with your email and re-customize the sets you own in the browser, without Photoshop, as many times as you like. It is not open yet. Until it is, the PSDs in your download do the same job, and every set you buy now will be in My Sets when it opens.

The license, in plain words

Operator license (every set and pack)

  • Use the designs at every event your business runs.
  • Personalize them for each client: names, dates, your logo.
  • Print them, and show them on your booth screens.

You can't resell, share, give away or list the files, layered or flattened, or put them in another template pack or on another site.

Single event license ($9 a set)

  • Use the set at your one event, including in a booth you hire.
  • Put your names and date on it.

It doesn't cover other events or client work. The fonts keep their own open license. The full license text is in every download, and it is the one that counts.
