We run the booth, too
Kept Sets is made by Cuttyhunk Creative Studio, a division of Cuttyhunk, in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. We run photo booths at weddings on the South Coast, and we design these sets for our own booth first.
Why we started drawing our own
A strip goes home on the fridge. It is the one thing from the night people keep, and most of the templates we could buy looked like a stock border with a name typed on it. The good ones came as a single strip, so the 4x6, the screens and the GIF never matched.
So we drew the sets we wanted: the decoration composed again for every shape, the type set into the art instead of floating on it, and windows sized so faces don't get cut. Every set is checked for contrast and for faces in the windows before it ships.
What "kept" means
You buy a set once and it is yours to use at every event your business runs. No subscription, no license that lapses when you stop paying. The files are standard PSDs and PNGs, and the fonts are open-licensed, so the set still opens in ten years.
Who we are
Cuttyhunk Creative Studio is the design and video studio of Cuttyhunk, a branding and business services company in Fairhaven. Kept Sets is the studio's own shop.
